ABOUT US

ABOUT US:
What began as an idea and desire to cultivate change through supporting the growth of African American businesses and communities, has now evolved into a joint venture for sisters Latigdra and Leona Brown. Through research, the sisters found various communities lacked representation of African American entrepreneurship, and consumers also lacked a direct avenue to connect with those entrepreneurs. Latigdra and Leona felt a responsibility to take action and help promote underrepresented minority-owned businesses, and the importance of regenerating wealth within our communities. Black Own Black was formed from this sense of responsibility.
